El Taco Riendo, one of the most beloved northeast Minneapolis taquerias for many years running, is now specializing in big. They've expanded their postage stamp-sized taco counter to include ample amounts of comfortable seating, they're now offering beer and wine, and our favorite big addition — hubcap sized tortas and footlong burritos. 

For those of us lucky persons in the know, both are the stuff of local lore — Google it and one guy photographed his burrito next to his 35-pound dog "for scale". (In addition to being long, it's heavy.) The on-premises consumption is a spectacle-maker. Prepare to get a few looks that eventually linger into stares. Like binge-watching Hee Haw or marathon bong sessions, this is an endeavor best tackled on the couch, alone or with one trusted partner, sans pants. 

Choose carne asada, barbacoa, lengua, tinga, carnitas, and a long list of other intoxicating braises and roasty things to jam inside your torpedo. At about $12 with everything, it's gotta be the cheapest way to humiliate yourself, gloriously, in town.
