CP news editor G.R. Anderson Jr.'s cover story was the first prominent public dissection of Minneapolis's imminent fiscal woes in the Age of Pawlenty.

It was also an object lesson in Photoshop fun: We were delighted to hear that some City Hall staffers actually assumed that Mayor RT Rybak had posed for the shot. In fact, only the toothsome mug is the mayor's. The body belongs to City Pages art director Nick Vlcek, a decidedly swarthy character.
