Native Minneapolitan Sarah Botcher doesn’t have a storefront of her own for Black Walnut Bakery. Not yet, that is. She’s working on it. In the meantime, do yourself a favor and track down her pastries at one of Spyhouse Coffee’s cafes, where you can pair the chocolate chip cookie of your dreams with your morning cuppa, or at One on One Bicycle Studio, where they’ll happily heat your ham and gruyère croissant to toasty pre- or post-ride fuel perfection. In fact, this might be the best time to get your hands on Black Walnut’s wares—when the melt-in-your-mouth pain au chocolat inevitably helps Botcher land a standalone home, you can bet there will be a line out the door every damn day. We’ll be at the front of it.
