Best Bowling Alley
Town Hall Lanes
Be honest. If your score is lower than your weight, the bowling part of most bowling alleys is pretty much the same: You get a ball, size up 10 pins, and try not to embarrass yourself. What sets Town Hall Lanes apart is what you can get into before, after, or in between frames. Namely, chowing down on some legit bar food — from cheese-stuffed pretzels to thick, well-topped burgers — and gulping some outstanding in-house beers. Just because you've got an itch to roll doesn't mean you have to peck at freezer fries. Try eating a big, real brunch, biscuits and gravy, or a breakfast burrito, and washing it all down with a few Masala Mamas and some lazily rolled frames in a family-friendly setting. If there's a better way to waste the hours on an obligation-free Sunday, we can't think of it.
