William Shatner is exactly how you'd expect him to be: boisterous, loquacious, and way livelier than his 84 years. Yes, Shatner is in his 80s. While he doesn't seem to be slowing down, he's got stories to prove his age. Shatner only answered a handful of questions during his hour-long panel at Minneapolis Comic Con, but that was only because he wouldn't stop talking. Each of his responses became a sprawling epic of a tale, whether he was talking about getting his start on radio with Orson Welles and Norman Corwin or pranking James Spader on the set of Boston Legal. But the real clincher for Shatner's appearance at the Con was whether or not he could still channel Captain Kirk for all the Trekkies crammed in the auditorium. He "KHAAAAANNNNN!" and he did, of course, boldly going where he's been many, many times before.
