Some reality shows are about capturing a glamorous lifestyle. Others push creativity. Survivor, however, follows a group of people living off of rice in a remote area in the world as they strategize and compete for $1 million dollars. It's a super popular formula that continues to work; this year the series aired its 30th cycle, and early this fall the 31st season will begin.
Before the latest season aires, it's time for a round of casting calls for upcoming seasons. This Saturday, producers will be in Minnesota looking for potential contestants.
Unlike a lot of reality shows, there's no age limit. You basically have to be 18 or older, be a U.S. citizen residing in the U.S., and be in good mental and physical health. According to the release, they are also looking for the following traits from applicants:
The casting call will take place in the Mall of America Rotunda from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each applicant will have one minute to explain to producers why they should be cast in an upcoming season.

? Adaptable to new environments
? Interesting lifestyles, backgrounds and personalities
